Breitling launched a pilot watch which was named “Navitimer” in 1950s. Equipped with the unique flight slide rule and luminescent coating, the timepiece allowed the wearers to calculate the data through the rule in the hostile environment. At the beginning, the Navitimer was designed with the tone of all-black and till 1963, it changed. Navitimer became one of the most classic chronograph in the history of Breitling even the whole watchmaking industry.
This year, Breitling officially released the Navitimer heritage version to commemorate that classic model. Based on the Navitimer ref.806 released in 1959, the new steel case copy Breitling maintains the original taste to the maximum.
40 mm Breitling Navitimer imitation watch features the same case and same bezel as the original model. The appearance of this new Navitimer is mostly the same with the original model in 1959. In performance, the self-manufacture calibre B09 takes the place of the Venus 178, providing the power reserve of 70 hours.
