IWC has kept developing and upgrading the complicated tourbillon, successively launching many innovative models of flying tourbillon and perpetual tourbillon. This year, IWC has combined the two complicated functions on the Portugieser, presenting the superior watchmaking craftsmanship.
The new IWC Portugieser retrograde chronograph model is equipped with tourbillon at 6 o’clock position and the retrograde indication is at 9 o’clock. The new watches are available in two different editions. The 18K Armor Gold® case one looks more impressive with the blue dial. With the improved micro structure, the hardness of the innovative material is much higher than the traditional red gold.
The other edition is in platinum. With the white dial, this IWC Portugieser looks very pure. After the 150 years’ development, IWC has been well-known in complicated functional timepiece especially the chronograph model.
