Over the past decade or so, the luxury replica IWC Aquatimer watches has lived a very discreet life, as the brand’s promotional activities have mostly been dominated by the Pilot’s and Portugieser collections.

In short, the specifications, dimensions and design are essentially identical to the previous models. But what’s inside makes the difference: it’s the brand’s 32111 automatic movement with no less than five days of power reserve, compared to the existing model’s ETA 2892 with its typical 42 hours.

The new (and old, in this case) Aquatimer Automatic is 42mm diving copy watches wholesale with a thickness of 14.10mm.

The shape of the case is a distinctive element of this collection, which is based on a specific construction of the rotating bezel. While most diving high quality replica watches on the market feature an outer bezel, the Aquatimer has an internal 60-minute scale printed on an angled flange.

IWC Caliber 32111

It is inside the case of the IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2022 that things really change. In the past, these best Swiss made fake watches have been powered by the caliber 30120, a 4 Hz automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve sourced from ETA or Sellita (a 2892-A2 or a SW300-1).

This year this movement was replaced by the caliber 32111, a movement produced in the ValFleurier factories of the Richemont Group and whose architecture is shared with Panerai and Baumatic of Baume & Mercier.

The main advantage of this movement, intended to replace ETA calibers with identical dimensions, is that it has a significantly improved power reserve of 120 hours (or five days). It beats at 4Hz and, although it is hidden under the caseback, it is decorated with Geneva stripes and perlage.

Some enthusiasts may not want to call it “in-house“, but it is certainly a significant and more interesting update than the previous ETA (still very valid movement but not justified at these prices).
